8th Mar - Fermentation Masterclass

Make your own kraut!
Join us as we master the ancient art of fermentation!

Learn the science behind this method of preservation used across the world!
Leave with your very own jar of kraut (you pick the veggies and the flavours) and the confidence to create your own ferments at home. 

What's included? You will learn about and make your very own jar of sauerkraut using a mixture of vegetables and flavours. We will go through the recipe together slowly, and talk you through the science behind fermentation and why it differs from other methods of preservation, plus we'll talk about how fermented foods can bring all sorts of health benefits. All ingredients are organically sourced from Rootstock and equipment is included. You just need to bring yourself! 

Welcome brew also included in your ticket
Under 18s welcome but must be accompanied by an adult - due to the limited capacity of these workshops both participants must pay for a ticket.

24th Apr - Spring Seasonal Supper Club

Join us as we celebrate all things spring at our seasonal supper club!

As we reach the end of the hungry gap we see fresh vibrant flavours that mirror the changing weather. Enjoy a 3 course menu fully embracing the new season's produce. Our supper clubs are BYOB as we aren't a licensed premises, but if you're not drinking we provide some lovely soft drinks to accompany your meal.

On the menu:

Starter

Vibrant wild garlic and potato soup, with sourdough croutons, herb oil, and toasted seeds


Main

Slow cooked Italian spiced lamb


Vegan Option

Aubergine Schnitzel


Served with a selection of sharing sides including a fresh fennel salad, warm roast potato and mustard salad, shaved asparagus and mint, garlic braised greens


Dessert

Greek Yoghurt panna cotta with seasonal fruit compote and ginger biscuit


Organic Coffee or Tea to finish


If you have a dietary requirement not included in the ticket types, please email [email protected] as soon as you book to ensure we can accommodate. We are able to cater to dairy free or vegan diners and we can offer gluten free alternatives but this event isn't suitable to anyone with a food allergy or coeliacs disease due to the small kitchen we operate from and the potential for cross contamination.
